Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Medical Surgical Registered Nurses in a 13-week travel contract in Battle Creek, MI. This role offers a unique opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), providing a chance to experience the quiet and calm of overnight work while supporting a variety of medical and surgical units. As a traveler here, you'll assist with patients undergoing procedures such as GI, urology, hysterectomies, and mastectomies, with a flexible staffing ratio of 1:5-6, occasionally supporting up to 7-8 patients with the help of LPNs. You'll be an integral part of a supportive, adaptable team that values your experience, especially if you bring 2+ years of Med/Surg background. The role emphasizes teamwork across staff levels, with float assignments to other units once a week, giving you a broader view of hospital operations. This assignment is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy varied patient cases, all while providing essential care during the night shift. The hospital is seeking professionals available for orientation in the first two weeks, with the possibility of up to 26 weeks of support.
