Job Description:

This contract position offers a unique opportunity for experienced CVICU RNs to step into a specialized and fast-paced cardiac ICU setting. You will be responsible for managing post-op cardiac cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR, along with supporting advanced procedures like Impella, IABP, and CRRT with PrisMax. The role involves hands-on management of complex cardiac patients during the night shift, providing critical care with a focus on monitoring, medication administration, and procedural support. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of recent CVICU experience, especially with fresh post-op cases, and holds current licenses and certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Expect a professional environment that values technical expertise and quick decision-making, all while enjoying the challenge of a highly specialized cardiac ICU.
