Job Description:

Join a busy and vibrant Emergency Department in Red Bluff, California, for a 13-week travel contract that will keep you engaged and challenged. This role suits experienced ER professionals with at least 3-5 years in a high-acuity environment, ready to handle a wide range of cases including stroke, orthopedic injuries, abdominal pain, and a significant pediatric patient volume. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care for approximately 15 beds, with a fast track open from 9am to 10pm. The hospital features a highly collaborative team, including charge nurses, nurses aides, and a dedicated unit secretary, all supporting your efforts. You may also take on a small patient load, with monitoring from Phillips central monitors and Vents, and a physician on-site at all times. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work with Cerner (First Net) EMR and advanced bedside monitoring in a fast-paced setting that emphasizes patient safety and quality care.
