Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a unique opportunity for Registered Nurses specializing in postpartum and labor and delivery. You'll be working in a facility equipped with 10 L&D beds, antepartum rooms, and a Level 3 NICU, caring for a diverse range of patients including high-risk pregnancies, postpartum mothers, and newborns requiring specialized attention. The role involves supporting mother/baby couplets, managing antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery care, and potentially assisting with cesarean sections and postpartum recovery. Expect a mix of night and day shifts, with opportunities for precepting students and floating to other units such as NICU and Peds. This position is ideal for nurses with at least two years of experience in L&D or postpartum care, who are comfortable handling a variety of clinical situations and supporting high-acuity patients.

Job Specifics:

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Shift: 12-hour shifts (0630-1830 and 1830-0630), rotating days and nights
Duration: 13 weeks (approximately 36 hours per week)
