Job Description:

This 14-week contract in West Allis, WI, offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy Emergency Department at a Level IV Trauma Center. You will be managing a fast-paced environment, primarily during 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Expect to handle a variety of patient cases, including chest pain, strokes, sepsis, orthopedic emergencies, and respiratory distress. Your role as an RN or ED tech will involve performing advanced IV skills, interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing catheter placements, and assisting with procedures like EKGs and specimen collection. The hospital supports staff with a broad team, including resource nurses, tele monitors (not tech-assisted), and specialists available around the clock. This assignment is ideal for experienced emergency healthcare professionals eager to contribute to and learn from a high-acuity setting in one of Wisconsin's renowned trauma centers.
