Job Description:

Join a specialized ICU team in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts. As a Registered Nurse in the SICU, you will handle post-surgical cases, multi-system trauma, and endovascular patients, often titrating drips for pressors, sedation, or insulin. You'll experience a collaborative environment with a charge nurse and house supervisor always available, along with in-house intensivists and telemedicine support. This assignment offers a chance to work with advanced equipment like vents, CPAP, and Bipap, while interpreting monitor strips as part of your routine. Expect to float to different units when needed, and participate in a comprehensive orientation to ensure you're fully prepared. The schedule includes weekend and holiday shifts, totaling 36 hours weekly, with guaranteed hours and local rate incentives.
