Job Description:

Join our emergency department team as a registered nurse on a 26-week travel contract in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves working 12-hour mid shifts, providing critical support in a Level 1 trauma center with 65 private beds. You will care for a wide age range of patients—from newborns to the elderly—handling everything from minor complaints to life-threatening emergencies. Expect to manage complex drips like vasopressors and cardiac medications, interpret rhythms on Phillips monitors, and work alongside a team of physicians, mid-level providers, and ED techs. The unique aspect of this assignment is the opportunity to work in a teaching hospital environment with diverse cases, high-acuity patients, and a collaborative team, all while enjoying the challenge of a fast-paced ED setting.
