Job Description:

This surgical technologist position specializes in open heart CVOR procedures, providing the opportunity to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting. You will be responsible for assisting in complex cardiac surgeries, supporting surgical teams during procedures, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared and sterile. The shift runs from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM on eight-hour days, with a mix of call duties including weekend shifts—comprising call hours and working hours—requiring flexibility and readiness. Prior travel experience in similar settings is essential to navigate this role smoothly. Expect to engage deeply with surgical protocols, maintain sterile environments, and collaborate closely with surgical teams throughout each procedure.
