Job Description:

Join a vibrant neonatal intensive care unit as a NICU Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in San Diego. This role involves working 12-hour rotating night shifts, providing specialized care in a Level 4 or strong Level 3 surgical NICU environment. You'll be responsible for managing complex neonatal cases, including ventilator support, line changes, and pre- and post-operative care, while floating between units and satellite campuses such as Rancho Springs, Palomar, and Scripps facilities. The assignment offers the chance to work with a team committed to excellence, all while experiencing the unique pace of San Diego’s medical community. Expect to work weekends, and be prepared to meet specific holiday coverage needs. This position demands recent NICU Level 4 experience or strong surgical background from a Level 3 NICU, with additional certifications such as BLS, NRP, and PALS preferred. Candidates should have their California license pending approval, own transportation, and be comfortable with advanced neonatal procedures.
