Job Description:

Join a busy operating room team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) on a 26-week contract in Kodiak, Alaska. This role involves working five 8-hour day shifts, primarily from 07:00 to 15:30, with opportunities to work a schedule that can accommodate a block arrangement. You'll be responsible for assisting during surgical procedures, preparing the OR, and ensuring compliance with protocols. The team operates within a Level IV Trauma center, and you'll have a chance to be part of a vital surgical unit in a facility boasting 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds. Certifications in ACLS and BLS are required, and first-timers are welcomed. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a critical access hospital environment, with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.
