Job Description:

Join a critical care unit specializing in step-down type patients such as POST MI with sheath pull, ADHS, POSTOP VASCULAR, GI BLEED, and DKA. As a registered nurse on this unit, you'll manage an average of 18 beds with a patient-to-RN ratio of 1:03, providing care that involves titrating drips like Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene. The role requires familiarity with BiPap and Cpap equipment, reading EKG strips, and working with telemetry monitors. The shift is 12-hour days, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will work alongside both charge nurses and house supervisors, with the opportunity to float as needed. This assignment offers a well-rounded experience in a busy, fast-paced environment that values expertise in complex patient cases, all while maintaining a professional and approachable setting.
