Job Description:

Join this 15-week contract as a Registered Nurse in a dedicated Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Kearney, Nebraska. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, caring for adult patients with diverse conditions such as cardiac issues, respiratory needs, sepsis, and post-procedure recovery. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment with a patient census averaging 24 across 40 beds. You'll perform titrations on various drips including Heparin, Nitro, and Dopamine, and interpret telemetry monitors—an engaging challenge for those eager to advance their skills in a supportive team setting. The unit values flexibility, teamwork, and effective communication, as you collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and respiratory therapists to deliver optimal patient experiences.
