Job Description:

Join this engaging 16-week travel nurse contract on an Oncology Progressive Care Unit in Columbus, Ohio. You’ll be working 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30), caring for high-acuity medical oncology and pediatric patients, primarily on a 36-bed telemetry unit with a focus on infection prevention and fall precautions. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to manage complex oncology cases, including solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic oncology, with equipment such as GE telemetry monitors, PCA pumps, and Stryker beds. Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, port access, and IV management is essential, while additional skills like chemotherapy monitoring and wound care are highly valued. Float within units of similar or lower acuity may be required. Your 36-hour weekly commitment ensures a focused engagement with patient care, in a setting that emphasizes professional growth and skill enhancement.
