Job Description:

Join a specialized radiology team as a Special Procedures Tech I in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week contract working 10-hour days. This role involves assisting physicians with arteriograms and other advanced radiologic procedures in a setting with two procedure rooms and an average of 5-10 procedures daily. You'll prepare examination areas, position patients across various ages, operate complex radiology equipment, pass materials, and take exposures—all while maintaining sterile technique. The position offers a unique chance to work closely with electrophysiologists in a department dedicated to diagnostic and treatment procedures, with rotating Saturday call shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic procedures, a valid Illinois license, and experience in a procedure-based radiology environment.
