Job Description:

Join a step-down unit as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Amarillo, TX. You'll work 12-hour daytime shifts (07:00 - 19:30), providing care to a diverse mix of med/surg and intermediate care patients. With nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6, you'll experience a variety of clinical situations. Previous experience in med/surg and intermediate care, along with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, are required. Sometimes, you'll lend a hand in overflow Med/Surg cases, keeping the team flexible and ready. This assignment is ideal for first-time travelers eager to gain solid hospital experience and enjoy a new community.
