Job Description:

This behavioral health nursing contract offers a chance to work in a multifaceted psychiatric setting, rotating between inpatient units and the psychiatric emergency department. You'll be providing specialized care for patients with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use issues. The role involves managing aggressive behaviors, administering medications via various methods, and supporting patients through crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. Shift work consists of 12-hour days, and the assignment includes every other weekend. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with at least two years of experience and prior travel assignment exposure, eager to make a difference in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
