Job Description:

Join the cardiovascular team at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, as a vascular-trained CVOR Tech. This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work on open heart cases such as CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR procedures. You'll be part of a small, specialized unit with only 2-3 heart rooms and staff dedicated to high-quality patient care. The role involves working 10-hour days during the day shift (7A - 5P), with on-call responsibilities one weeknight and one weekend per month. Expect to coordinate closely with a team of 4 RNs and 3 CSTs, and handle complex cardiovascular cases in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This assignment is an excellent chance to hone your vascular skills and contribute to a program restarting its ECMO services, making each day both challenging and rewarding.
