Job Description:

Join a vital team as a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical care at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This 13-week travel assignment features 12-hour night shifts, where you’ll provide essential patient support on a busy 49-bed unit. Your responsibilities will include IV placement, wound care, post-op recovery, trach and NG tube management, and urinary catheter care. With a focus on fostering personal connections and following IDSET bedside reporting, you’ll engage directly with patients while utilizing Welch Allen and Dynamap VS machines, bladder scanners, wound vacs, and other advanced equipment. This role offers a guaranteed 48 hours weekly, and a schedule with three weekend shifts per four-week period, giving you ample opportunity to explore your new surroundings after shifts.
