Job Description:

This travel Operating Room Registered Nurse position at IU Health offers a rewarding opportunity to work within a busy Level I trauma center in Indianapolis. The role involves circulating and scrub responsibilities in a variety of surgical specialties including General, Plastic, GYN, ENT, Neuro, Ortho, GU, and Colorectal surgeries, with potential for floating across units to meet patient needs. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours weekly over a 13-week contract. Nurses should be well-rounded, current in most surgical areas, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting. Trainees with trauma experience and handling multiple specialties will find this assignment especially engaging. Certifications in BLS are required, and candidates must hold an Indiana, compact, or Temp license at start.
