Job Description:

This travel nursing role places you in a hospital setting where you'll step into a comprehensive nursing position, providing care to a diverse patient population with varying levels of complexity. Expect to assume responsibility for assigned groups of patients, document responses to treatments, assist physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, and deliver medications— including IV infusions and blood products. The position involves a balance of technical skill and patient interaction, including communicating with families about care plans and hospital procedures. With responsibilities spanning all shifts and a requirement for float coverage across multiple units—including medical, surgical, specialty, hem/onc, and step-down units, along with NICU coverage—this role offers a dynamic and engaging experience. You’ll work closely with a specialized team, including support staff delegation, and must bring at least 3 years of level I trauma experience to ensure top-quality care.
