Job Description:

Join a 13-week contract as a Registered Nurse on a Medical-Surgical unit in Austin, TX, where your night shifts begin at 7:00 PM and end at 7:00 AM. This role offers a balanced schedule with weekends rotating every month, giving you time to explore the city’s vibrant scenes during your days off. Your responsibilities will involve patient monitoring, administering medications, and documenting care in Meditech electronic health records. You’ll work alongside a seasoned team, including charge nurses and skilled RNs, in a unit equipped with video EEG, telemetry, and other advanced tools. This assignment is perfect for nurses with at least three years of hospital experience who are comfortable managing patients with epilepsy and working independently in a fast-paced environment. Expect to be part of a unit that values feedback and owner mentality, with a navy blue scrubs dress code featuring the St. David’s logo, ensuring a uniform appearance across staff members.
