Job Description:

This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses specializing in obstetrics, antepartum, and high-risk pregnancies. You’ll work a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing vital support in a Labor, Delivery, and Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP) unit that also manages high-risk cases. While the focus is primarily on assisting with labor and delivery procedures, including circulating C-sections independently, there will be occasional opportunities to assist in the NICU. Expect to cover weekends every third week and holidays, with some flexibility regarding floating to neighboring units. This position emphasizes strong labor patient skills, and prior experience in high-risk scenarios is required. Certifications like BLS, NRP, and preferred certifications such as AWHONN Intermediate and ACLS are necessary to ensure optimal patient support. The setting promises a hands-on, fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact maternal and fetal outcomes.
