Job Description:

Join our team as a Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse in a vibrant hospital setting where you'll focus on caring for young patients with complex cardiac conditions. In this role, you'll provide critical nursing support in a unit specializing in cardiac defects, both medical and surgical. You'll handle procedures such as managing trachs, vents, high flow nasal cannula, post-op cath care, and supporting post-CTICU patients on inotropes, heart, and lung transplants. This assignment features a 12-hour rotating schedule—day and night shifts every other weekend—offering a dynamic and rewarding experience for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your hands-on role will include closely monitoring patient progress, collaborating with the healthcare team, and providing essential care during vital recovery phases.
