Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in the role of a Registered Nurse (RN) working full-time night shifts in a busy PCU setting. You will be responsible for delivering safe, patient- and family-centered care, focusing on assessments, developing and implementing plans of care, and evaluating patient responses. As part of this assignment, you'll supervise both licensed and non-licensed staff, apply evidence-based practices, and engage in mentorship and quality improvement initiatives. The environment encourages professional growth with a focus on teamwork, education, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The role is unique for its emphasis on acute inpatient care, requiring a solid two years of ICU or PCU experience, Epic system familiarity, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Night shifts run from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with bi-weekly weekend responsibilities, providing an opportunity to hone your skills in a fast-paced, specialized setting.
