Job Description:

This RN position in the Nephrology unit offers a unique on-the-ground experience working with patients suffering from ESRD, AKI, dialysis, and post-transplant care. You'll be responsible for bedside reports, patient rounding, and collaborating with a team that manages complex diagnoses like prostatectomies, kidney stones, and transplants. The role features 12-hour shifts, providing an immersive opportunity to develop expertise in nephrology procedures and patient management, with a focus on teamwork and dependability. Expect to work with private and semi-private rooms, overhead lift equipment, and participate in shared duties with PCTs, all while contributing to the care of both inpatient and post-op transplant patients. This assignment offers a focused, specialized environment for nurses with a gen-med background looking to deepen their nephrology skills.
