Job Description:

Join a busy endoscopy unit in Madison, WI, as an Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract, working 8-hour day and evening shifts. You’ll be at the forefront of sedation management, performing moderate sedation during GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy. This role involves pre- and post-procedure care within PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery, with a focus on maintaining patient safety within targeted sedation ranges based on Ramsay Sedation Scale scores. Expect to manage patients recovering from both moderate sedation and some general anesthesia, with occasional overnight call and flexible shift start times between 6:30 am and 10:30 am. The position demands recent experience in sedated GI and pulmonary procedures, with at least 2 years of professional practice in a Level 1 trauma center or similar environment. Epic electronic health record experience and the ability to pass a telemetry test are required. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RN prepared to provide expert sedation care in a fast-paced setting.
