Job Description:

Join a vibrant labor and delivery unit in Shreveport, LA, for an engaging 13-week travel assignment as a registered nurse. You will be supporting antepartum and laboring patients, managing preparation for C-sections, triage, and postpartum care, often circulating during high-pressure events like magnesium sulfate therapy, blood transfusions, and inductions. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), providing vital care during some of the most critical moments in childbirth. This role offers a unique chance to refine your skills with a supportive team in a family-like environment, with ample orientation and on-the-floor support. Your expertise in labor and delivery, along with certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, will be key in delivering excellent patient outcomes in this Level 3 NICU and Birth Ready designated hospital.
