Job Description:

This travel contract places you in the emergency department of Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio, TX. As an emergency department RN on a 12-hour mids shift, you will handle triage, medication administration, splinting, and other urgent procedures. The role requires quick thinking, teamwork, and experience with ED protocols, including ultrasound-guided IVs and EMR systems like Meditech. You'll enjoy immersing yourself in a fast-paced setting with a dedicated team providing care to a diverse patient population. The unique aspect of this assignment is working in a 13-bed ED with a combined fast track area and a staff that covers all shifts, offering a comprehensive snapshot of emergency nursing in a well-staffed hospital environment.
