Job Description:

Join an experienced Labor and Delivery team as a Registered Nurse in Battle Creek, MI, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive care across all areas of the LDRP unit, including antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum. Your responsibilities will include circulating, FHM tasks, triage, and newborn assessments, such as lab draws and hearing screens. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a 15-bed unit, utilizing EPIC EMR, with occasional float coverage to nearby facilities. RNs must be equipped with ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or NCC C-EFM certifications, with a preference for advanced AWHONN training. No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks, ensuring a consistent team experience. This role provides a chance to actively contribute in a fast-paced environment while enhancing your OB nursing expertise. The unique setting and responsibilities make this assignment both challenging and rewarding.
