Job Description:

Join a Level III NICU team in Bismarck, North Dakota, for a 13-week travel assignment that combines clinical expertise with a close-knit team environment. This role involves supporting critically ill neonates in an open-bay, bed-concept setting, managing patient loads of 2-3 infants, and participating in deliveries under 36 weeks. As a NICU RN, you'll be responsible for titrating medications such as antibiotics, TPN, and surfactant, attending to babies with RDS, prematurity, hypoglycemia, and more. The unit is staffed with neonatologists during the day and NNPs overnight, with charge nurses leading each shift. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, roughly 48 hours weekly, with options for rotating days and nights. This role is ideal for active learners who thrive on teamwork, family-centered care, and hands-on neonatal support. Additional skills needed include experience with central lines, ventilators, bubble CPAP, and delivering APGAR assessments under 36 weeks.
