Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract offers experienced RNs the opportunity to work our 12-hour night shifts at a busy medical-surgical unit in Austin, Texas. You'll be responsible for providing top-quality patient monitoring, wound care, external fixation management, and assisting with procedures such as bracing and using CPM machines. No on-call required, giving you clear boundaries between work and personal time. The setting is fast-paced but supportive, with a team that values outgoing, team-oriented professionals who can adapt to new technology like Welch Allyn Vital Signs equipment and MediTech EMR. Expect to work a 36-hour week, with shifts beginning at 7:00 PM and ending at 7:30 AM, in an environment that appreciates proactive and engaged nursing staff.
