Job Description:

This contract position is for an experienced RN to work in a 18-bed Cardiac Step-Down/PCU unit at a community-based hospital in High Point, NC. The role involves 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week period, providing care for general medical patients with cardiac, respiratory, and neurologic needs, including post-MI, post-procedure, and acute respiratory failure. You will perform continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, interpret cardiac rhythms, manage arterial lines and drips, and support post-operative cardiac patients. The environment encourages teamwork and utilizes advanced equipment like Philips monitors and EPIC EMR, with orientation tailored to facilitate a smooth transition into the unit’s high-touch, high-tech setting. This assignment offers the opportunity to deepen your cardiac care expertise while working in a supportive team-focused setting.
