Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract offers an engaging opportunity for an RN specializing in Medical Surgical on a neuroscience unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM at a facility located on Forest Lane in Dallas. Expect to care for neuro patients, stroke, epilepsy, and TIA cases, utilizing Meditech EMR and coordinating with a dedicated team of nurses and PCTs. The role involves managing patient loads of approximately 4 to 5 patients per nurse, with a focus on efficient data collection, medication administration, and supportive care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This assignment is perfect for nurses who thrive on hands-on work with specialized neurological cases and enjoy a team-oriented environment with a focus on acute care procedures.
