Join the Surgical Medical Care Center team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN. This role involves providing bedside care to patients recovering from procedures such as Whipple surgeries, vascular operations, and heart caths, with a focus on thorough assessment and critical thinking. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced staff during your shift, navigate charting in EPIC, and handle procedures like blood product administration, wound care, and chest tube management.
