Job Description:

This PICU Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in the intensive care unit, focusing on pediatric patients. You will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care during 12-hour night shifts, from 19:00 to 07:00. The role includes clinical review, patient monitoring, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. Flexibility is required as there may be occasional floating to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs. The schedule includes working two out of three winter holidays and three weekends in a six-week period. Experience with pediatric cardiac clients and current BLS and PALS certifications are preferred. A Virginia license is acceptable pending approval, with the possibility to approve 40 hours of time off, excluding the first two weeks of the contract.
