Job Description:

This Oncology Registered Nurse contract offers a stimulating opportunity to work in a renowned short-term acute care hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. You'll be providing specialized oncology care, including chemotherapy administration, port management, blood and blood product transfusions, and central line care. The role involves floating across different units within the oncology department as needed, ensuring every patient receives attentive care regardless of the unit. Expect to interpret telemetry data, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to the needs of a daily census of approximately 30 beds. The work schedule features 12-hour days on a 3x12-hour shift pattern, allowing for a balanced workweek with 36 hours commitment. This setting challenges you to adapt quickly and demonstrate your expertise in oncology nursing while enjoying the vibrant city surroundings.
