Job Description:

Join an esteemed Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital in Macon, Georgia, as a MedSurg/Tele RN for a 13-week contract. This role offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated team in a busy, high-acuity environment where your clinical assessment skills and expertise in managing complex patient cases will be put to good use. Expect a mix of acute and chronic disease management, post-op monitoring, and working with patients who have co-morbidities such as diabetes and hypertension. The shift is 12 hours during the day, providing a balanced work schedule. This assignment is ideal for RNs with at least 2 years of med-surg experience, particularly those comfortable with chest tube management, IV insertion, telemetry interpretation, and post-op care. You'll be supporting a bustling unit with a patient census of 35, performing procedures like glucometer management and operating advanced telemetry equipment, all while collaborating within a team focused on delivering quality patient care.
