Job Description:

This contract position offers an engaging opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in large hospital settings, particularly those familiar with hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant units. You will be caring for medically complex patients, including blood product transfusions, chemotherapy, and symptom management. The role involves performing head-to-toe assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The assignment takes place in Fargo, North Dakota, in a busy oncology department with specific training and orientation, including classroom and hands-on unit training. Expect a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, every other weekend and holiday, with no on-call duties. This role is distinguished by its focus on hematology/oncology care, with potential exposure to EPIC electronic medical records and advanced monitoring equipment. Travel experience and recent inpatient oncology work are highly preferred.
