Job Description:

Step into the role of a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse on this 13-week night shift assignment in Maryville. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients with a range of medical conditions, including CVA, pneumonia, diabetes, renal issues, COPD, cellulitis, and post-surgical recovery. Your nights will involve monitoring telemetry systems, interpreting dysrhythmias, managing IVs and medications with Pyxis, and participating in rapid response teams. The unit features a dedicated negative pressure room and equipment like bladder scanners and safe patient handling tools. This assignment offers a chance to work in a bustling, well-equipped 48-bed unit that handles both medical and some surgical patients, excluding major neurosurgical or cardiovascular cases.
