Job Description:

This travel assignment positions you as an RN on a 32-bed Med/Surg/Tele unit in Shelby, NC, working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be providing care to patients with conditions such as strokes, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, and wound management. The role involves interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing cardiac drips, wound care, drainage devices, and central lines, with support from CNAs, phlebotomists, and medical support staff. You'll experience a fast-paced environment that demands adaptability, including occasional floating to nearby facilities within Region 3. The unit uses Epic EMR and integrated monitoring tech, including virtual nursing cameras, adding a modern touch to your daily routine. The staffing mix ensures collaboration and patient-centered care, providing an engaging setting for experienced nurses ready for a challenging yet rewarding travel experience.
