Job Description:

This forensic healthcare contract calls for experienced professionals comfortable working with incarcerated populations in a correctional setting. You will be accountable for reading telemetry strips, managing arrhythmia readings, and distributing heparin, all while adhering to strict procedural and safety standards. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts over an extended 13-week period, with a flexible schedule that requires working weekends and holidays—one holiday off is granted randomly. Expect to be tested on telemetry skills prior to orientation, and be prepared for floating within your scope of practice. Reliability, transparency, and experience—preferably at least two years in recent practice—are key to succeeding in this assignment. You may work with charge or preceptors, and compliance clearances are needed 10 days before orientation.
