Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is focused on cardiac telemetry nursing in a hospital setting. As a registered nurse on the night shift, you'll primarily manage post-procedural cardiac patients, including those recovering from cath lab interventions, post-surgical heart operations, and patients with arrhythmias or chest pains. Your expertise will be essential in titrating IV drips like nitroglycerin and heparin, managing chest pain, and monitoring patients via a 24/7 central telemetry system. The role combines high-paced decision-making with detailed patient management, making every shift a chance to sharpen your skills in cardiac care. The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on days and up to 1:6 on nights, with support from RTs and nurse aides. This assignment offers a blend of technical challenge and clinical camaraderie, all within a hospital environment where your experience truly makes a difference.
