Job Description:

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech in Columbia, South Carolina, for a 13-week contract where you'll be instrumental in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures within the catheterization laboratory. This role involves working four 10-hour day shifts (0700-1730), with the flexibility to stay until procedures are completed, ensuring patient care continuity. You will handle a caseload of around 20-25 cases daily, supporting 4 to 5 labs per day with a team of 2-3 CVTs per lab. The position requires experience in coronary diagnostics and interventions, proficiency in scrub and monitor techniques, and relevant certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS, along with an active South Carolina license. Expect to be part of a fast-paced environment that offers on-call responsibilities one weekend every seven weeks, plus weekly evening shifts and holiday coverage as needed. The setting provides an engaging opportunity to hone your skills in a renowned acute care hospital without floating between service lines.
