Job Description:

This radiation therapy contract offers a unique opportunity to work at a Level II Trauma Center in Bangor, Maine. You will operate Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and utilize Mosaiq EMR systems to deliver outpatient and inpatient treatments primarily to adult and geriatric patients. Your role involves managing a busy caseload of approximately 90 patients daily across three linacs, with a flexible schedule focusing on 8-hour shifts, four days a week. The position includes a 1 to 1.5-week orientation to familiarize you with the facility's protocols and equipment. This assignment emphasizes independence, floating as needed to ensure coverage of all linacs, and rotating holiday schedules. Applicants with at least one year of radiation therapy experience, preferably with Mosaiq and/or Varian equipment, are encouraged to apply, including first-time travelers. The role offers a competitive weekly gross pay, all within a facility that values professionalism and technical expertise.
