Job Description:

This 13-week contract in Montgomery, AL, offers an immersive experience in a busy emergency department, focused on high-acuity cases such as cardiac, respiratory distress, and diabetic emergencies. As a critical care registered nurse, you'll manage complex procedures including central lines, chest tubes, and airway management, while working with a variety of advanced EMR and monitoring equipment. The schedule includes 12-hour mids shifts, and you'll be the go-to expert during weekends on a rotating basis. Unique to this assignment is the opportunity to apply your ICU or ED experience in a first-time traveler role, supporting a 176-bed hospital with a four-bed emergency department.
