Job Description:

Join our team as an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract at a prestigious Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis, MO. This is a night shift role working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, offering a steady schedule of four nights per week. You'll be providing specialized care to patients undergoing medical oncology treatments, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and stem cell transplantation. Your responsibilities will include administering IV starts, managing central lines and ports, trach care, and monitoring for dysrhythmias, which you will need to interpret and manage. The unit is equipped with CAD pumps and other advanced equipment, and the work entails handling solid tumor cases such as lung, breast, and pancreatic cancers, as well as leukemia and bone marrow transplants. This assignment presents a unique chance to work in a top-tier hospital where your expertise helps patients through their critical treatment journeys.
