Job Description:

This telemetry and ICU RN contract offers a chance to work in a busy Cardiac ICU environment, where you'll be responsible for supporting critically ill patients with complex needs. Your role includes taking the proctored Dysrhythmia Test on day one—so be prepared to showcase your rhythm interpretation skills. You will work 12-hour day shifts, with schedules made about six weeks in advance and the flexibility to self-schedule, pending manager approval. The unit features 30 beds, with a mix of ICU patients, many with recent open-heart surgeries or unstable cardiac conditions. You’ll operate with a team that values experience, especially in mixed ICU settings, and you'll have access to resources like GE monitors, Vent support, RT and pharmacy services around the clock, and a 24/7 hospitalist team. Notably, you'll be scheduled to work on at least two of the major holidays, providing a chance to give back during special times of the year.
