Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week contract in the ICU at a Nebraska hospital, working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be responsible for managing adult patients with conditions such as trauma, cardiac issues, overdoses, sepsis, post-stent recovery, and strokes. This assignment offers a chance to handle a variety of critical cases, requiring skills in titrating cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips, along with interpreting GE monitor strips. Your role will include patient assessments, documentation, trouble-shooting ventilation equipment, and collaborating with a team that includes nurse aides and healthcare support techs. Self-scheduling is available for core staff, but travelers may be assigned shifts as needed. The environment emphasizes patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced setting.
