Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN position in the SICU at a busy hospital in Peoria, Illinois, offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You'll work 12-hour day shifts with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, managing complex cases such as post-surgical patients, multi-system trauma, and endovascular procedures. The role involves titrating drips of pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin, providing an immersive experience for ICU nurses with Level I trauma and critical care expertise. A thorough orientation—including classroom learning, shadowing, and hands-on preceptorship—will prepare you to deliver excellent care in this demanding yet rewarding setting.
