Job Description:

Join the team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at St. Marks Hospital's Fast-Flow Emergency Department in Taylorsville. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a busy ED lab environment, performing diagnostic testing on a variety of analyzers including Siemens Dimension EXL, Sysmex 1000, Roche Clineteck, and others. You'll handle daily maintenance, quality control, calibration, and specimen processing, supporting both waived and nonwaived tests. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts—7:00 AM to 7:00 PM—and the role involves interacting professionally with clinical staff while working largely independently. Flexibility for additional hours during off weeks is available, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours and an internal pay rate that averages around $1,526.94 gross per week.
